Seattle area construction look ahead
The Seattle Department of Transportation's weekly transportation construction update highlights the projects and events that may impact travel through the Seattle area. View this week's update.
This week's highlights:
- Jan. 4 - March 15: Connect 2020 Sound Transit project continues with service reductions and two more weekend closures; Feb 8 - 9 & Mar 14 - 15.
- Jan. 23, 25, 27 - 30: Lane reductions over the Aurora Bridge. Nightly 9 p.m. - 6 a.m.
- Jan. 23: WB SR5 20 off-ramp closed to Montlake Blvd. 10 p.m. - 6 a.m.
- Jan. 24 - 26: Full closure of Stewart St. from 2nd Ave to 1st Ave. Fri 9 p.m. - Sun 7 p.m.
- Jan. 24: Full closure of northbound SR99 Tunnel for monthly maintenance.10 p.m. - 8 a.m. The S Royal Brougham Way on-ramp will remain closed until 1 p.m.
- Feb. 7, 8, 14 & 15: Full southbound closure of the 1st Ave S Bridge. Nightly 9 p.m. - 8 a.m.
- Feb. 10 - 13: Full closure of Denny Way between 6th Ave and Dexter Ave. Nightly Mon - Thurs 9 p.m. - 5 a.m.
- Feb. 21, 22 & March 13, 14: Full northbound closure of the 1st Ave S Bridge. Nightly 9 p.m. - 8 a.m.
