Seattle area construction look ahead

The Seattle Department of Transportation's weekly transportation construction update highlights the projects and events that may impact travel through the Seattle area. View this week's update.

This week's highlights: 

  • Nov. 14 - 17: Seattle International Auto Show at CenturyLink Field Event Center.
  • Nov. 16: Two Northbound lanes closed on SR99 over the 1st Ave S bridge from 4 to 11 a.m.
  • Nov. 16: Northbound 7th Ave N closed Denny Way to Harrison St. John St. closed between 6th Ave N and Dexter Ave N from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Nov. 29: Annual Macy's Parade will take place in Downtown Seattle. Parade begins at 7th and Pine at  90a.m.
  • Nov. 29: 2019 Apple Cup. Washington Huskies host the Washington State Cougars at Husky Stadium. Kickoff at 1 p.m.
  • Nov. 29: Annual Downtown Holiday Tree Lighting and Macy's Starlighting & Firework display.Festivities begin at 4:40 p.m. at 4th & Pine.
  • Dec. 1: Seattle Full and Half Marathons will start and finish at Seattle Center. Marathons begin at 7 a.m. Routes will use streets and trails in the South Lake Union, Downtown, Wallingford, Fremont and Ballard neighborhoods, as well as the I-5 Express lanes and northbound lanes on SR99.
