The Seattle Department of Transportation's weekly transportation construction update highlights the projects and events that may impact travel through the Seattle area. View this week's update.

This week's highlights: 

• Aug. 14: 4th Avenue S. Paving Project begins.
• Aug. 18 - 21: Montlake Bridge closed in both directions.
• Aug. 18 - 21 & 25 - 28: Northbound I-5 reduced to two lanes between SeaTac and Tukwila.
• Aug. 18 - 20: Seattle Hempfest at Myrtle Edwards Park.
• Aug. 18: Seattle Seahawks host the Minnesota Vikings in a pre-season game at 7 p.m. at CenturyLink Field.
• Aug. 19: Multiple street closures on 2nd Avenue in downtown Saturday.
• Aug. 25 - 28: SR-520 closed between I-5 and Bellevue.
