The Seattle Department of Transportation's weekly transportation construction update highlights the projects and events that may impact travel through the Seattle area. View this week's update.

This week's highlights:

• Jan. 11: Permanent Viaduct Closure - Full SR 99 closure through downtown.
• Feb. 1: The Battery Street Tunnel will close permanently at 10 p.m.
• Feb. 2 & 3: SR 99 Tunnel Grand Opening Events will include an 8K run and Tunnel/Viaduct tour on Saturday and a bike ride Sunday morning.
• Feb. 16 - 17: Full closure of the Montlake Bridge, Saturday, 6 a.m. - Sunday, 6 p.m.
