The Seattle Department of Transportation's weekly transportation construction update highlights the projects and events that may impact travel through the Seattle area. View this week's update.

This week's highlights: 

• June 30 - July 3: 4th Ave. S. closed between S. Washington St. and Jefferson St.
• July 4: Annual fireworks show over Lake Union will close streets north of Gas Works Park beginning at 4PM.
• July 7 - 9: Ballard Seafoodfest will close streets in downtown Ballard.
• July 7 - 8: Full closure of northbound I-5 through downtown Seattle Friday night.
• July 7 - 10 & July 14 - 17: Northbound I-5 reduced to two lanes between SeaTac and Tukwila.
• July 14 - 17: Westbound lanes of SR520 closed between Bellevue and Montlake Blvd.
