The Seattle Department of Transportation's weekly transportation construction update highlights the projects and events that may impact travel through the Seattle area. View this week's update.

This week's highlights: 

• August 12: South Lake Union Block Party will close 9th Ave. N. between Denny Way and Thomas St.
• August 12: Guns N Roses concert at 7:30PM at CenturyLink Field; gates open at 5:30PM.
• August 12 - 15: Southbound I-5 reduced to two lanes south of Tukwila during roadway repairs.
• August 13: Rainier Valley Heritage Festival and Parade, and the Seattle Summer Parkways event will close Rainier Ave. S. between S. Alaska St. and S. Orcas St.
• August 18: Seattle Seahawks host the Minnesota Vikings at 7PM at CenturyLink Field.
• August 19 - 21: Seattle Hempfest at Myrtle Edwards and Centennial Parks.
• August 19 - 22: Southbound I-5 reduced to two lanes south of Tukwila during roadway repairs.
• August 20 & 21: Seattle Street Food Festival will close 9th Ave. N. between Denny Way and Republican St.
