The Seattle Department of Transportation's weekly transportation construction update highlights the projects and events that may impact travel through the Seattle area. View this week's update.

This week's highlights: 

• Feb. 26 - March 2: Howell Street reduced to one lane between 9th and Boren avenues from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.
• March 1 - 4: Emerald City Comicon at the Washington State Convention Center.
• March 3 - 4: 1st Avenue South closed in both directions between Yesler Way and S. Jackson Street
• March 4: Hot Chocolate 15K & 5K Run will close streets in South Lake Union, Downtown, and on Aurora Avenue North Sunday morning.
• March 4: Seattle Sounders host the Los Angeles Football Club at 2 p.m. at CenturyLink Field.
• March 9 - 12: Northbound I-5 exit to Madison Street closed during replacement of expansion joints.
