The Seattle Department of Transportation's weekly transportation construction update highlights the projects and events that may impact travel through the Seattle area. View this week's update.

This week's highlights: 

• July 4: Seafair Summer Forth at Gas Works Park; fireworks display will begin at 10:20PM.
• July 6 & 7: Eastbound SR520 closed nightly between Montlake and Bellevue.
• July 8 - 10: West Seattle Summer Fest will close California Ave. SW between SW Edmunds St. and SW Genesee St.
• July 8 - 11: Eastbound I-90 closed between Seattle and Bellevue; eastbound traffic will be diverted to the Express Lanes.
• July 8 - 11: 23rd Ave. & E. Union St. intersection closed.
• July 8 - 11: Southbound I-5 reduced to two lanes south of Seattle.
