Seattle area construction look ahead
The Seattle Department of Transportation's weekly transportation construction update highlights the projects and events that may impact travel through the Seattle area. View this week's update.
This week's highlights:
- Aug. 12 - 15: WB SR 520 off-ramp to Lake Washington Blvd - closed nightly 10 p.m. - 6 a.m.
- Aug. 13 - 15: Denny Way reduced to one lane in each direction at 7th Ave N., nightly 8 p.m. - 5 a.m.
- Aug. 16 & 17: SB I-5 reduced to two lanes over the Ship Canal Bridge, nightly 10 p.m. - 8 a.m.
- Aug. 16 - 17: Southbound SR 99 Tunnel closed for monthly maintenance, Fri 11 p.m. - Sat 9 a.m.
- Aug. 16 - 18: Seattle Hempfest at Myrtle Edwards and Centennial Parks on Seattle's waterfront.
- Aug. 16 - 19: The Aurora Bridge reduced to one lane in each direction, Fri 8 p.m. - Mon 5 a.m.
- Aug. 17 - 18: EB I-90 closed from I-5 in Seattle to Island Crest Way on Mercer Island, Sat 10 p.m. - Sun 5 a.m.
- Aug. 29: Seattle Seahawks host the Oakland Raiders at CenturyLink Field in the final pre-season game. Kickoff at 7 p.m.
- Aug. 30 - Sept. 1: Bumbershoot at Seattle Center.
- Aug. 30 - Sept. 2: PAX West at Washington State Convention Center.
- Aug. 31: University of Washington Huskies host the Eastern Washington Eagles at Husky Stadium. Kickoff at 12 p.m.
