Seattle area construction look ahead
The Seattle Department of Transportation's weekly transportation construction update highlights the projects and events that may impact travel through the Seattle area. View this week's update.
This week's highlights:
- Aug. 10: Pearl Jam concert at Safeco Field, 7:30 p.m.
- Aug. 10 (8 p.m.) - Aug. 13 (5 a.m.): Friday 8 p.m., NB I-5 lane reductions will begin at Swift/Avenue Albro Place (Exit 161) and will be reduced to 2 lanes to SR 520. Express lanes will be closed all weekend in both directions. In addition, NB I-5 will be reduced to two lanes from SR 520 to NE 45th St. from 2 a.m. to noon on Saturday and Sunday. For all ramp closures, please check the WSDOT website.
- Aug. 10: South Lake Union Block Party at South Lake Union Discovery Center, noon - 11 p.m.
- Aug. 10: Panic! At the Disco concert at KeyArena, 7 - 10 p.m.
- Aug. 11: SPF30: Sub Pop 30th Anniversary Festival at Alki Beach, noon - 10 p.m.
- Aug. 11: Daryl Hall & John Oats and Train concert at KeyArena, 7 - 10 p.m.
- Aug. 12: Seattle Sounders vs. FC Dallas at CenturyLink Field, 7 - 9 p.m.
