The Seattle Department of Transportation's weekly transportation construction update highlights the projects and events that may impact travel through the Seattle area. View this week's update.

This week's highlights: 

• August 1 - October: Stewart St. reduced to two lanes between Minor Ave. and 6th Ave. from 10AM - 6AM daily during roadway restoration.
• August 4 - 7: Seafair Weekend will close Lake Washington Blvd. S. between Mt. Baker Beach and Seward Park.
• August 4 - 7: I-90 closed between I-5 and Mercer Island during Seafair Airshow.
• August 5 - 8: 5th Ave. fully closed between Marion St. and Columbia St.
• August 5 - 8: University Bridge fully closed while crews repave the roadway.
• August 6: Community parades and events will close streets in Magnolia, the Central District, Georgetown, and Lake City.
• August 12 - 15: Southbound I-5 reduced to two lanes south of Tukwila during roadway repairs.
