The Seattle Department of Transportation's weekly transportation construction update highlights the projects and events that may impact travel through the Seattle area. View this week's update.

This week's highlights: 

• October 7 - 10: SR520 closed between Seattle and Bellevue during paving and striping, and during maintenance to the temporary tolling system.
• October 8 & 9: SR99 Viaduct closed for semi-annual inspection.
• October 7 - 9: 23rd Ave. E. & E. Union St. intersection closed during roadway paving.
• October 14 - 17: Denny Way fully closed between Stewart St. and Fairview Ave. N. to reconfigure traffic lanes.
• October 17 - November 18: Denny Way reduced to one lane in each direction between Stewart St. and Fairview Ave. N. during underground utility work.
