Seattle area construction look ahead
The Seattle Department of Transportation's weekly transportation construction update highlights the projects and events that may impact travel through the Seattle area. View this week's update.
This week's highlights:
- April 4 - 7: Northbound SR99 closed nightly between Western Ave. and Valley St. during electrical work.
- April 7 - 10: Emerald City Comicon at Washington State Convention Center.
- April 8 - 10: Seattle Mariners host the Oakland A's at Safeco Field. Opening Day is Friday, April 8.
- April 8 - 11: SR520 closed between Montlake and Bellevue to begin westbound traffic switch to new bridge.
- April 8 - 11: Intersection of Stewart St. and Boren Ave. reduced to one lane in each direction.
- April 9 - 10: Intersection of 23rd Ave. and E. Cherry St. fully closed.
- April 11 - 15: Southbound SR99 closed nightly between Valley St. and Thomas St.
- April 17: Paul McCartney concert at 8PM at KeyArena.
