The Seattle Department of Transportation's weekly transportation construction update highlights the projects and events that may impact travel through the Seattle area. View this week's update.
This week's highlights:
Please note: The information is subject to change and additional construction or events may be planned in the Seattle area.
- Sept. 12 - 21: S. Dearborn St. closed at 1st Ave S. for viaduct demo, 24/7.
- Sept. 13 - 14: NB & SB SR 99 Tunnel closed, Fri 10 p.m. - Sat 8 a.m.
- Sept. 13 - 16: Full EB & WB closure of Denny Way at 7th Ave, Fri 7 p.m. - Mon 5 a.m.
- Sept. 14: Washington Huskies host the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors at Husky Stadium. Kickoff is at 4:30 p.m.
- Sept. 14 - 15: NB SR 99 Tunnel closed, Sat 10 p.m. - Sun 8 a.m.
- Sept. 15: Mariners host the Chicago White Sox at 1:10 p.m. at T-Mobile Park, and Sounders host the New York Red Bulls at 3 p.m. at CenturyLink Field.
- Sept. 20 - 22: Annual Seattle Greek Festival and Fremont Oktoberfest in Seattle's Montlake and Fremont neighborhoods.
- Sept. 22: Seahawks host the New Orleans Saints at CenturyLink Field. Kickoff is at 1:25 p.m.
- Sept. 23: Closure of the Fairview Ave N bridge for approximately 18 months.
- Sept. 27 - 30: Full EB & WB closure of Denny Way at 7th Ave, Fri 7 p.m. - Mon 5 a.m.
- Sept. 28: Washington Huskies host USC at Husky Stadium. Kickoff TBA.
