The Seattle Department of Transportation's weekly transportation construction update highlights the projects and events that may impact travel through the Seattle area. View this week's update.

This week's highlights: 

• October 2 - 4: Banner Way NE/NE 80th St. on-ramp to northbound I-5 closed for 4 consecutive weekends.
• October 2 - 5: Final 2015 homestand for Seattle Mariners (vs. Oakland A's).
• October 2 - 5: 23rd Ave. & E. James St. intersection fully closed.
• October 4: Seattle Sounders host the LA Galaxy at CenturyLink Field at 6:30 PM.
• October 5: Lane closures begin on northbound Aurora Ave. N. at Comstock St.  Closures are expected to last 45 days.
• October 5: Seattle Seahawks host the Detroit Lions for Monday Night Football at 5:30 PM at CenturyLink Field.
• October 9: President Obama will visit Seattle for a fundraiser.
