The Seattle Department of Transportation's weekly transportation construction update highlights the projects and events that may impact travel through the Seattle area. View this week's update.

This week's highlights: 

• Nov. 24: Annual My Macy's Holiday Parade in Downtown Seattle Friday morning; annual tree lighting, starlighting, and fireworks display Friday evening.
• Nov. 25: Washington Huskies host the Washington State Cougars in the 110th annual Apple Cup at 5 p.m. at Husky Stadium.
• Nov. 26: Seattle Marathon and Half Marathon will take place on Seattle streets between the Seattle Center and Seward Park.
• Nov. 30: Seattle Sounders host the Houston Dynamo in the second leg of their playoff match. 7:30 p.m. at CenturyLink Field.
• Nov. 30 - Dec. 14: Republican St. closed nightly between 9th Ave. N. and Westlake Ave. N. during duct bank installation.
• Dec. 1: Great Figgy Pudding Caroling Competition will close street around the Westlake Mall Friday evening.
