The Seattle Department of Transportation's weekly transportation construction update highlights the projects and events that may impact travel through the Seattle area. View this week's update.

This week's highlights: 

• July 8 - 10: West Seattle Summer Fest will close California Ave. SW between SW Edmunds St. and SW Genesee St.
• July 8 - 11: Eastbound I-90 closed between Seattle and Bellevue; eastbound traffic will be diverted to the Express Lanes.
• July 8 - 11: 23rd Ave. & E. Union St. intersection closed.
• July 8 - 11: Southbound I-5 reduced to two lanes south of Seattle while crews replace concrete panels.  This is the first of five weekend lane reductions.
• July 9 - 10: Ballard SeafoodFest will close streets in Downtown Ballard.
• July 11 - 12: Roosevelt Way NE will be fully closed between NE Ravenna Blvd. and NE 53rd St. while crews complete paving.
