Seattle area construction look ahead
The Seattle Department of Transportation's weekly transportation construction update highlights the projects and events that may impact travel through the Seattle area. View this week's update.
This week's highlights:
- Oct. 5: Warriors vs. Kings NBA pre-season game at KeyArena, 7:30 p.m.
- Oct. 5 - 6 or 6 -7: SB I-5 will be reduced to one lane from the West Seattle Bridge to the Corson / Michigan exit, 8:30 p.m. - 8:30 a.m. Work is weather-dependent.
- Oct. 6 - 7: Fairview Ave N. closed SB from Thomas St. to Denny Way, 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.
- Oct. 7: Seahawks host the LA Rams at CenturyLink, kick-off at 1:25 p.m.
- Oct. 8: Seattle Sounders host Houston Dynamo, 7:30 p.m.
- Oct. 12 - 15: SR-99 Southbound will be closed from the south end of the Battery St. tunnel to S. Spokane St., Fri 9 p.m. - Mon 5 a.m.
- Oct. 12 - 15: Rainier Ave S. at I-90 will be closed, Fri 11 p.m. - Mon 5 a.m. Same closure will happen Oct. 19 - 22 & 26 - 29.
- Oct. 12 - 15: NB I-5 will be reduced to 2 lanes from MLK to Olive Way, Fri 8 p.m. - Mon 5 a.m.
- Oct. 19 - 22: SR 99 will be fully closed from the West Seattle Bridge to the Battery St. tunnel, Fri 9 p.m. - Mon 5 a.m.
- Oct. 20: UW Huskies host Colorado at Husky Stadium, kick-off TBA.
