The Seattle Department of Transportation's weekly transportation construction update highlights the projects and events that may impact travel through the Seattle area. View this week's update.

This week's highlights: 

• Jan. 2 - 31: Westbound Denny Way reduced to one lane between Stewart St. and Minor Ave. N. from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Jan. 2: Center City Connector Streetcar project resumes with closures on northbound 1st Ave. S. between S. Jackson St. and Yesler Way during utility relocations.
• Jan. 2: 7th Ave. Mobility Improvements project begins with lane closures on 7th Ave. between Westlake Ave. and Olive Way.
• Jan. 6 - 7: 2nd Ave. closed between Pike St. and Union St. during crane work.
• Jan. 13: SR-99 closed in both directions between Denny Way and Seneca St. during viaduct inspection.
